Michele Fasano at VGIK

Michele Fasano, a well-known Italian filmmaker, visited VGIK on October 18, 2013 and showed his film In me non c'è che futuro (The Future Lies with Me…), a documentary about Adriano Olivetti. The visit was organized with the support of the Italian Cultural Institute in Moscow.
The film was presented by Patricia Bonifacio and Carmela Decaro from the Adriano Olivetti Foundation.
The director who has made a political portrait of Adriano Olivetti is also known for his previous works:

While still being Tonino Guerro’s pupil Michele Fasano successfully made the movie La Regola del Sonno (The Rule of Sleep) in 1991.
The master class was attended by VGIK students, students and teachers of Moscow Institute of Architecture, and guests from the Italian Cultural Institute in Moscow.
After the screening of 2 parts of the movie the director discussed its artistic aspects with the audience. The meeting helped the viewers get the picture of the development of documentary cinema in Italy.
